한국과 인도. 이 두 나라의 유구한 문화는 역사, 지리적 배경 때문인지 서로가 많이 닮아있기도 합니다. 실제로 우리나라는 고구려 시대부터 많은 승려와 학자들이 인도에 오가며 무용, 음악, 미술 등 다양한 예술적 유산을 공유하였고 가야의 허왕옥 이야기와 같이 인도와 우리나라는 어우러지는 이야기들이 아주 많습니다. 나선진과 한샘바위는 예부터 백악지수라 하여 왕과 선비, 신선들의 도와 깊은 내면 정신수양을 위해 연주를 하였던 그릇인 ‘거문고’ 와 명상과 철학, 수많은 신들이 존재하는 믿음과 종교의 나라인 인도의 정수를 담은 ‘시타르’ 를 통해 현시대를 살아가는 젊은 두 음악인의 국경을 초월한 세계관을 아우르는 듀오 입니다.

Korea and India, with their ancient cultures, share remarkable similarities rooted in their historical and geographical backgrounds. Since the Goguryeo period, numerous monks and scholars traveled to India, exchanging artistic heritages such as dance, music, and art. Stories intertwining India and Korea abound, including the tale of Heo Hwang-ok of Gaya.Na Sunjin and Han Seambawy embody the essence of Korea and India. Na Sunjin plays the traditional Korean instrument, the geomungo, used by kings, scholars, and spiritual leaders for inner cultivation. Han Seambawy represents India, known for its meditation, philosophy, and diverse deities, through the sitar. Together, these young musicians transcend borders, embracing a worldview that transcends time and place.
